Beginning Trance Mediumship Workshop
Trance
mediumship is one of the oldest forms of spirit communication. The trance state is an altered state of
consciousness where the conscious part of the medium temporarily steps aside to
allow a spirit guide to assume control over the medium’s brain and vocal cords.
This enables the spirit guide to speak directly through the organism of the
medium. Trance mediumship is based on a loving and trusting relationship with
one’s spirit guides and brings spiritual upliftment to the medium. Examples of
trance mediums and their wise and awesome spirit guides are Estelle Roberts and
Red Cloud, Maurice Barbanell and Silver Birch, Grace Cook and White Eagle.
In this class you will:

This workshop is timed for the conclusion of the harvest season to help us prepare and make the most of the long dark days of Winter.

Sacred Journeys: Walking with Spirit
in Shenandoah National Park
Revive your spirit and
experience a spiritual union with the sacred spirit of Nature! This all day
(9:00 am to about 5:00 pm) active outdoor workshop takes us into the Northern section of
Shenandoah National Park. This workshop is designed for
those on the spiritual path who wish to develop and/or deepen their connection
with Nature. You will be introduced to meditative processes and exercises to
open your spiritual perception, connect with the elements of nature, practice nature divination to facilitate a spiritual encounter with the
Great Mystery.
We are going to hike on beautiful, quiet, pristine trails through shaded forest. There are going to be frequent stops
along the way to experience a variety of processes, meditations, and exercises
for the spiritual senses to connect and commune with elements and the spirit of
nature. To maintain the magic and sanctity of this event, group size is limited to 7 participants.
NOTE: This workshop involves walking/hiking about 2 (two) miles at a comfortable pace on hiking trails of light to moderate difficulty. Wear layers of comfortable loose clothing, sneakers or hiking shoes.
Bring:

We will meet at the trail head at 9:00 am. From Silver Spring, MD and Washington, DC it takes about 2 hours and 20 minutes to reach the trail head! You should plan on leaving the Washington, DC area at about 6:30 am to arrive on time.The workshop ends at approximately 5:00 pm.
